Star Twirl 2012

Another great event hosted by Superstars Baton. Our photographers spent the day shooting well over 3000 images of the athletes. We did our best to get as many as we could of each person. Look at the photos and come back often as photos may still be added over the next few days. See everyone at the next event.

Team Hark Events - Trek or Treat

Some 200 years ago, there was once a thriving village in the valley of 16 mile creek. Since it's abandonment in the late 1880's, all that remains of this past settlement are 3 old cemeteries perched high above the river, atop the valley walls. Over time, the river had eroded the steep banks to expose the resting grounds of those early settlers. Empty caskets have been found washed up along the rivers edge during thunderous summer storms. Locals tell of human-like misty apparitions being seen running through the forest and circling a favourite tree in the south end of the park. Perhaps they are trying to find their last resting place? It is said that sightings here are extremely frequent by many people. In the darkest areas of the valley, orbs of white and green light have been seen floating across what were previously known village routes. It is said that they are those spirits that have willingly stayed behind because they feel bound to their previous life or previous location for whatever reason. Many locals won't speak of the transparent orbs of light and the eerie silence that befalls the valley after dark. Do you ever get that feeling that you may not be alone? Do you get that feeling that someone or something is watching you? Do you dare wander the trails alone? Sightings are always after dark…
